Duke Snider Los Angeles Dodgers Old Timers Signed Game Worn Jersey
Presented is a fine opportunity to possess a signed 1980s home Dodgers Duke Snider jersey worn at an Old timers game in LA. Hall of Famer Snider was immortalized in Terry Cashman's song Talkin' Baseball with the refrain "Willie, Mickey and the Duke," and this offering is an opportunity to own a jersey worn by one of the three iconic New York City center fielders of the 1950s. One of the Brooklyn Dodgers "Boys Of Summer," Snider played 18 seasons in MLB, 16 with the Dodgers, and one season each with the New York Mets and the San Francisco Giants. He hit 407 homers and was considered a premier fielder who was known for leaping catches at the outfield wall. The white jersey has "Dodgers" in blue on the front, and the front also is neatly autographed "Duke Snider" with a black Sharpie on Snider's red letter #4. The back of the jersey has "Snider" and his #4, both in blue lettering. The jersey shows use. On the inside lower rear, it is tagged AIS, with the size tab as 46. The jersey originally came right from Duke Snider.
