Early 1900s Figural Glass Candy Container Baseball Player Bank (Only One Known)

Early 1900s Figural Glass Candy Container Baseball Player Bank (Only One Known)

This unusual baseball player is in snowy clear glass with a tin top, intended to be used as a bank after the candy is gone. We have seen this as a candy container, but never as a bank with the original metal lid. This player is considered by some to be Honus Wagner although that can't be confirmed. This hard-to-find container is in nice condition with no cracks or obvious chips and scant traces of cold painting in the details. Measuring 3.5" tall, this is very desirable to candy container collectors.
