Early 1900s Miller Huggins Original Photograph Used for T206 Card

Early 1900s Miller Huggins Original Photograph Used for T206 Card

All original circa early 1900s photograph depicts Hall of Famer Miller Huggins during his early playing days with the Cincinnati Reds. Also significant is that this is the image used for his 1909 T206 portrait card, with the image itself taken by Carl Horner. Measures 3.25x5", though this is 100% vintage, it was skinned off of its original mount and thus cannot be graded by PSA. Clean head-and-shoulders image has "Huggins" written in pen at top and "5" written at bottom in black marker. Back has remnants of the original mount and "Huggins" again written on back in unknown hand. Huggins was known as an exceptional fielder during his 13-year playing career, and he truly left his mark as the manager of the powerhouse New York Yankees of the 1920s, accounting for six American League Pennants and three World Series.
