Early 1900s Paper Mache Baseball Player Candy Container

Early 1900s Paper Mache Baseball Player Candy Container

Excellent item of baseball memorabilia shows rosy-cheeked player in a blue cap at bat. He stands in a white shirt, orange waistband, hunter green pants, and black shoes. This had originally fit onto a base, which opened to reveal the compartment where candy would have been stashed. Great condition with original stick bat. All handmade and painted. Piece stands proudly at 7 1/4".
