Early 1950's Bob Cain Game Worn Glove
If you take into consideration the heavy use on this glove, and the fact that the guys from these days tended to wear the same glove season after season, it stands to reason that this is the very glove that the Detroit Tigers pitcher was using when he pitched four straight balls to a midget named Eddie Gaedel, who brought the attention of the world to Bill Veeck and his St. Louis Browns. Strongly worn "Wilson" glove has vintage "Cain" in hand lettered block on the thumb, and Cain's EX black ink signature on the pinky. Acquired from Cain, with LOA.
