Early 1960’s Ryne Duren Equipment Bag
With bottle-thick glasses and a 95 mph fastball Ryne quickly became the Yank’s most feared relievers but he’s best remembered for his touching autobiography The Comeback. His navy canvas equipment bag with white straps has been stenciled with “Yankees 26 on one end, with a painted team logo on the other. Based on the style, its most likely Duren used this duffel, with tremendous use, during his lone All Star season of ’61.
