Early 1970s Walt Frazier New York Knicks Game Worn Jersey

Early 1970s Walt Frazier New York Knicks Game Worn Jersey

Style, grace, and basketball excellence were all captured in the name, "Clyde." Walt Frazier's flashy play earned him legendary status with the 1970s New York Knicks, and this white home jersey was game-worn by the Hall of Famer. Circa 1971, this stunning top bears Frazier's number 10 on front and back, "New York" above the front number in the same style orange-and-blue tackle twill lettering, and arched-style "FRAZIER" in blue sewn individually above the number on the rear. Gerry Cosby tagging along with 44 Long is inside the collar, and the 100% Nylon tag below has actually been sewn onto the shirt by the "Z" in Clyde's last name. Aside from the minor loss of some hem stitching at the very bottom and slight wear presumably from use and washing, this is simply an amazing piece, classic and near-perfect. Walt was named to the Hall of Fame and his retired number hangs proudly in the rafters at Madison Square Garden.
