Early Bleacher View of Polo Grounds Photograph (PSA Type I)
Great circa 1910s shot from the fabled Polo Grounds, we think it is the 1913 World Series. Photo of the packed house is taken from the right field stands of the oddly-configured ballpark, which served as home to the New York Giants and Highlanders/Yankees during this period, with the Giants dropping the series to the Philadelphia A's, 4-1. Measures 7x5", black and white with pencil ID on back and Brown Brothers stamps, from the photo collection service started in 1904. Encapsulated PSA Type I Authentic.
