Early Fenway Park Ticket Sign

Early Fenway Park Ticket Sign

Today's Sox seat-seekers will do a spit take with their beer at the prices on this vintage Fenway ticket sign -- $2.75 for a box seat, $2 for a reserved grandstand seat. Nowadays that wouldn't even cover 2 bites of a Fenway Frank, and we'd say that was an attractive price to catch the Splinter in the flesh. Still, we bet the Fenway Faithful groused about the prices anyway -- Sox fans are always grousing about something. 14 x 24" tin sign reads the same on both sides, in green enamel lettering spelling out the damage against a white background. Sign is amazingly fresh looking and VG-EX with a few dings and areas of soiling visible at close range, but the paint is nearly perfect.
