Early Flatbush Avenue Porcelain Street Sign

Early Flatbush Avenue Porcelain Street Sign

Back from the days the borough of Brooklyn was an independent city comes this authentic porcelain street sign depicting the avenue that runs from the Manhattan Bridge to Jamaica Bay. The Flatbush Avenue subway stop was always bustling on game days prior to 1958 as Brooklyn Dodgers fans made their way to nearby Ebbets Field. This sign, which measures 36x6", is in amazingly good condition, and though used, still retains its original sheen.
