Early Football Leather Helmets & Spikes w/1919 Manual Arts HS (6) (from Helms Museum)
Six great vintage football items are up for grabs: 1) Vintage 1919 leather helmet with tag stating it came from Manual Arts High School, includes the player's name, Nestor Oulie. 2-4) Circa 1940s uniform worn by famed Mexico City football player Manuel "Pibe" Villari, includes helmet, jersey and long socks. 5) Princeton University football helmet with chinstrap, circa 1960s. 6) A pair of early leather hightop cleats; the cleats themselves are particularly long, possibly for traction on a surface that was often muddy. These items show various degrees of use and are offered as is.
