Early Hilltop Park New York Highlanders Glass Plate Negative
Rare early 1900s glass plate negative shot from the stands at Hilltop Park, home of the New York Highlanders from 1903 to 1912. Beautiful 5x7" image depicts a packed house gazing at the players below. The Highlanders eventually changed their name to what we know today as the New York Yankees. Great historic piece from the Brown Brothers collection.
