Early Photographic History of the City of New York (40+ photos)

Spanning from the early 1910’s to the 1960’s, this amazing visual panorama details the growing metropolis of New York City in all its splendorous architecture and varying nuances. One of the best collections of such photos we have ever offered! In over forty photos, the buildings and streets that make up the history of the great city are laid out in beautiful black-and-white. This assemblage includes: a magnificent shot of the proposed World Trade Center diagram from 1964, a haunting shot of the inside of the newly constructed Grand Central Station from 1913, early awe-inspiring shot of the George Washington Bridge, an illustration of the proposed Rockefeller Building from 1931, a capture of collected Gothamites in Times Square ringing in 1938, a daunting shot of the top of the famed Chapel Building, a still-being-constructed St. John’s Cathedral and a plethora of other memorable photos. The collection is in overall EX condition and is primarily made up of wire photos that vary in size, though are mostly 10x8”s and 7x9”s. A must-have for any lover of the city that never sleeps.
