Playing in this game were Red Sox Hall of Famers Tris Speaker, Harry Hooper, and Smokey Joe Wood and Philadelphia Athletics Hall of Famers Eddie Collins and Home Run Baker.3) Rain check for April 10, 1913 Opening Day of the Season when the Red Sox lost to the Philadelphia Athletics 10-9. HOF players for the Red Sox were: Harry Hooper, Tris Speaker, and Smokey Joe Wood and for the Athletics: Chief Bender, Eddie Plank, Eddie Collins, and Home Run Baker.4) 1913 rain check for May 1 game at Fenway won 8-2 by the Sox over the Washington Senators.
