Early View of Yankee Stadium Photograph (PSA Type Type I)
Clear circa 1920s image from the earliest years of the original Yankee Stadium, which opened for business in 1923. Players are on the field during warm-ups in this 6.5x4.5" original Type I image, which also includes a peek at the original and iconic copper frieze atop the House that Ruth Built; the frieze stood from the opening until the 1974 renovation and has been in reproduced form since. Has only minor creasing at the corners and back has pencil identification and stamps from Brown Brothers. PSA encapsulated Type I Authentic.
