Early Yale Football Sideline Cape
Guaranteed to keep anyone or anything warm, this heavy wool cape is notable for its sheer simplicity and functionality. There is no tagging of any kind, and judging by the silk-screened wording on the back - "YALE AA FRESHMEN" - it's pretty safe to assume this once belonged to a frosh football player circa 1910-1920. The interior lining features hand-warmers and there is some staining inside, especially in the hood vicinity. A real throwback to a bygone era!
