Eddie Mathews Last Game Used Glove
Rawlings glove is begot from his very last game as a professional baseball player. With 512 HRs, Eddie Matthews was elected to the Hall of Fame in 1978, as the greatest hitting 3rd baseman the world had ever known. He is the only player in the Braves' franchise history to wear the Braves uniform in all three sites (Boston, Milwaukee, & Atlanta) over his 15-year span. They retired Eddie's #41 in 1967. This first baseman's glove was worn during his days in Detroit ('67-'68), where he closed out his spectacular career. "Mathews" in faded black marker across pinky. His #"7" (with Detroit) appears on the heel of the thumb and strap over back of hand. As you can see, this glove saw a lot of action, heavy use! Heart Hide brown leather.
