Elston Howard Game Worn Cap and Cleat - Gifted to Personal Friend
Incredible Elston Howard game used collection includes one game used Yankees hat and one cleat. The cap has New Era tagging size 7 1/4, hand written "32" underneath the brim and shows heavy use. Brim is cracked, has numerous loose threads, stains and some moth holes. Right cleat has handwritten "32" in sole in the same hand as the cap. Cleat shows nice use and is complete with laces and dirt in spikes. Obtained by man named Bernie a.k.a King B, who was a spokesman for an appliance company that used Major Leaguers to promote their products. The man became friendly with many New York players.
