Enormous Joe DiMaggio Original Painting by Arthur K. Miller
Original mixed media on board artwork of Joe DiMaggio by renowned sports artist Arthur K. Miller. Signed by the artist along the base. Miller has also signed the piece on the backing of the frame, where he has included the title of the piece, "DiMaggio," along with the year it was produced, "1999." This is a haunting image of the famed "Yankee Clipper," notable both for its size (four feet in height) and Miller's strict attention to detail. A somber DiMaggio is pictured as he stands alone on the field at Yankee Stadium. Arthur K. Miller's work has been exhibited both in the United States and internationally, including a one-man show at the Baseball Hall of Fame that enjoyed a record five-year run. Mint condition. 18.5x48".
