Eric Clapton Signed Display (PSA)

Eric Clapton Signed Display (PSA)

Eric Clapton created quite a stir with his 1998 album Pilgrim. The album was the 13th solo album released by Clapton, and it was released by Reprise Records on March 10th. The album consists of all new studio created music. It was very commercially successful, reaching the Top Ten for albums in 22 countries. The release consists of 14 tracks. Two of the later released singles are "My Father's Eyes" and "She's Gone." The album illustration measures 12x12". Below the album illustration is a 1.25x4" informational plate that reads, "Autographed by Eric Clapton Chicago's United Center April 10, 1998." The album cover art and the informational plate are matted and framed at 18.5x21". The appearance at the United Center was a part of the Pilgrim Tour, an event that began on Oct. 7, 1997, and ended on Nov. 30, 1999, and included 106 playing dates, none of them cancelled by Clapton, and the English musician and his band and guests performed in front of more than 920,000 spectators. Clapton signed the display in the upper area using a gold-colored marker and signing, "Eric Clapton 98." The display comes with a PSA/DNA Letter of Authenticity categorizing the Clapton signature as "AUTHENTIC." The display is both visually appealing and intriguing with its surreal space and water images. It is a fitting keepsake from the winner of 18 Grammy Awards.
