Eric Clapton Signed Record Award For "Crossroads" Boxed Set (PSA)
As did many of his contemporaries, Eric Clapton combined blues and rock but it was his sublime talent which separated him from the pack, as he was ranked the 2nd best guitarist of all time by Rolling Stone magazine. His magnum opus, "Crossroads," is a classic rock staple, and in 1988 PolyGram released a boxed set bearing that name, covering his work with the Yardbirds, Mayall & Clapton, Bluesbreakers, and Cream. Framed 18.5x16" display shows the four disks from the set - one signed in black Sharpie by Clapton - and a plate below reads "Presented to Andrew Govatsos to commemorate the sale of more than 500,000 copies of the Polydor/Polygram Records Cassette and C.D. 'Crossroads' boxed set." At the young age of 77, the 18-time Grammy winner continues to tour and entertain fans around the globe. Full LOA from PSA.
