Errol Flynn Personally Owned 14k Gold Ring with Twelve Diamonds

Errol Flynn Personally Owned 14k Gold Ring with Twelve Diamonds

Errol Flynn was one of the most famous movie stars during Hollywood's "Golden Age". Flynn was particularly popular for his swashbuckling adventure roles in such pictures as The Adventures of Robin Hood, Captain Blood, Gentleman Jim, Sante Fe Trail, and many more. Flynn was also a member of an informal group known as the "Bundy Drive Boys". This group, which included Flynn, and other world-famous actors such as John Barrymore and W.C Fields, hung out at a house on Bundy Drive in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles, and they were known for their partying, carrying on, and wild high jinks. The handsome, dashing Flynn even commented on his wild lifestyle, once stating, "The public has always expected me to be a playboy, and a decent chap never lets his public down." The stunning ring measures approximately a size 4.5. It has a small cloth wrapping around the bottom of the ring band, like a ring sizer, that has not been removed, and the actual size of the ring is more than size 4.5. It comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from Roslyn Herman Antiques and Collectibles of Kew Gardens, New York. The COA states, "This certificate guarantees the Authenticity of the item described as genuine in its content and origin. Errol Flynn - A fourteen Karat gold ring with hammered motif and twelve inset diamonds with one larger center one." The ring comes from the estate of a member of the Barrymore family, Elaine (?) Barrymore.
