Exceedingly Rare 1964 Strat-O-Matic Board Game

Exceedingly Rare 1964 Strat-O-Matic Board Game

For over half a century, Strat-O-Matic Baseball has been a favorite of fans and players alike, and is still considered by many to be the Gold Standard of baseball simulation board games. In 1963, the company decided to provide an individual card for each player and the game skyrocketed in popularity. This is one of the earliest versions of that classic, dating from 1964. Clearly extensively, yet lovingly, used, the original playing field board, charts, and dice are present, as are vintage player cards from numerous teams. New cards are still released each year and all of these contain player stats from the 1963 season; imagine staffing your team with the likes of Mickey Mantle, Carl Yastrzemski, Brooks Robinson, Ernie Banks, and so many other stars-and non-stars of the era. Comes in original box which shows great wear as well; this early set as is would grade in roughly Very Good condition due to the wear, however the components are 100% present to allow game play as soon as the box is opened.
