Exceptional 1960s Roberto Clemente Canada Dry Cardboard Sign - Limited to NYC Latin Neighborhoods

Exceptional 1960s Roberto Clemente Canada Dry Cardboard Sign - Limited to NYC Latin Neighborhoods

This is the only known specimen of this amazing cardboard sign featuring Numero Uno Roberto Clemente circa 1971. Fabulous graphics include a marvelous head shot of Clemente which dominates the piece. Roberto is inset against the Canada Dry Ginger Ale colors of green and white. Measures 18x24" and is the nicest cardboard sign of the era that we have ever seen. Some creasing but a beautiful overall appearance, this is a truly special piece, limited to release in Latin neighborhoods in the New York, hence the extreme rarity. This is based upon the fact that they are giving away free Yankee tickets as well as scholarships. From the Gus LeDonne collection, legendary football & sports collector who passed away too soon in 2013. A top of the line buyer, Gus bought the best of the best in the early days of our hobby.

Addendum: This poster is actually circa 1985 as "NutraSweet" was branded in 1985. We apologize for the misrepresentation.
