Exceptional 1964 Mickey Mantle Abstract Oil on Canvas by Pat Young
This is a wonderful treasure of an oil painting in a unique avant garde style of the 1960s, featuring Mickey Mantle in mid-swing, with a teammate and crowds in the stands. Artist signed "Pegee" on front, the back reads "Artist Pat Young Paint Sketch of the American Game of Baseball November 1964 Earlton N.Y. Used M. Mantle Picture as Model." Leland's had this same piece decades ago. Measures 14x18" overall and condition is NRMT.
