Exceptional Boston Garden Humidor

Exceptional Boston Garden Humidor

Out of this world piece was one of a limited edition that original sold for $10,000. Created for the closing, 90 were to be made but only five were ever completed. One was given to Larry Bird & Red Auerbach; one was sold to Screw magazine publisher Al Goldstein for $10,000. Incredible quality piece of rich burled wood inset with elaborate brass pulls and hardware. Top shelf technically, your cigar stash will be safe in this cedar storehouse with cedar tray and two thermostats. Measuring a hefty 24x16x10", about a thousand cigars should fit in here. The lid is richly adorned with a piece of parquet mint signed by Red Auerbach and an actual Boston Garden brick reading "Boston Garden 1928-1995." Inside it is signed by the maker, "#2 of 90…3-15-97 Gary Scott." Comes with all of the original documentation including photos of Auerbach signing the parquet, COA for the brick, COA for the humidor itself stating only five were "ever built like it," and a major magazine advertisement for the humidor. NRMT.
