Exceptional Football Vintage Photographs (7)
Exceptional photo archive of seven Type 1 football images includes: 1) Nov 1925 Red Grange, roughly around the time he signed with the Chicago Bears. 2) Dec 1937 Sammy Baugh Washington Redskins days before NFL Championship vs. Bears. 3) 10/20/23 Red Grange leads Big 10. 4) Nov 1925 Grange signs with Chicago. 5) Red Grange plays professionally by the great Van Oeyen. Date stamped Sept. 1928, but that is when it was filed. They did not play in 1928, so likely it was 1927. Lot also includes two other Type 1 images. All have various stampings and markings on versos. Some chipping, pinholes and creasing, but overall still EX. These were hand-picked by the National Pastime Sports Museum.
