Exceptional Neil Armstrong Signed Photo (Two LOA's)

Exceptional Neil Armstrong Signed Photo (Two LOA's)

He's known for taking the most famous step in American history. Astronaut Neil Armstrong - an aerospace engineer, naval aviator, test pilot and Korean War veteran - became the first man to set foot on the moon when his Apollo 11 mission made contact with the lunar surface on July 21, 1969. Though Armstrong photos are plentiful, this 8" x 10" of him in his spacesuit is a bit rarer since it is signed. It comes with the original mailing envelope (EX condition), as well as PSA/DNA and JSA Letters of authenticity. The black Sharpie signature rates 9 out of 10 and the photo is in MINT condition. Armstrong was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom by President Richard Nixon, then President Jimmy Carter presented him with the Congressional Space Medal of Honor in 1978. Armstrong and his former crewmates received the Congressional Gold Medal in 2009.
