Extremely Early New York Yankees Pennant With Sewn-On Letters

Extremely Early New York Yankees Pennant With Sewn-On Letters

The Yankees didn't win the first of their 27 World series until 1923, and this nifty little red pennant most likely predated that seminal season. Most notable here is the individually sewn-on white letters. The trim and tassels are navy blue and the reverse has a small paper tag sewn on that partially can be made out: 100% all Wool. The condition is EX due to a few very minor holes. Full size measures roughly 25.5" x 9".
