Fabulous Little Orphan Annie Pen & Ink by Harold Gray (1940)
Out of this world drawing is significant because it shows so many of the characters. Majorettes Annie and Sandy are leading the charge with Daddy Warbucks following behind. Signed by Gray on front, this was published for the 85th anniversary of the San Francisco Call-Bulletin newspaper. Original newspaper article affixed to verso reads "Drawn especially for this edition by Harold Gray". Beautiful pen and ink on artists board. EX+. 9x10.5".
