Fan Letter Written to Chief Bender Requesting 3 Signatures

A rather unique view into our consignor's mind asking for three autographs at a clip, but hey, it worked! These three beautiful ballpoint pen signatures from the Hall of Fame hurler rate 10 out of 10 except for letter folds from having been put in an envelope. After a 15-year career during which he racked up 212 wins to only 127 losses, Chief Bender left baseball in 1918 to work in the shipyards during World War I before returning to the mound for a cameo appearance seven years later.
