Fan Letter Written to Chief Bender Requesting 3 Signatures

These three beautiful ballpoint pen signatures from the Hall of Fame hurler rate 10 out of 10 except for letter folds from having been put in an envelope. After a 15-year career during which he racked up 212 wins to only 127 losses, Chief Bender left baseball in 1918 to work in the shipyards during World War I before returning to the mound for a cameo appearance seven years later.
