A tribute to baseball's popularity in the early 1900s drives the content in this black and white photo. Pictured are fans up on the famed Coogan's Bluff overlooking the Polo Grounds circa 1910s. Those who couldn't gain admission to the legendary ballpark congregated on the rocky landing overlooking the grounds, with some scaling trees for a better vantage point. Measures 6.5x4.75" with pencil notation describing the scene on reverse, along with stamps from noted photo aggregation service Brown Brothers. PSA Type I Authentic encapsulated.
