Fantastic Ty Cobb Portrait Glass Plate Negative
Outstanding all original, from the camera, one of a kind, glass plate negative of Ty Cobb. Recently discovered in the Brown Brothers archive, this negative featuring The Georgia Peach was in the camera just a few feet from Cobb when the image was captured by a Brown Brothers photographer all those years ago. Taken during the 1910's, the artistic shot of Cobb simply portrays him staring off onto the field dressed in his famous Tigers uniform. Measuring in 5x7", the negative was hand labeled "Tyrus Cobb" in the upper corner; as if we didn't already know who he was at first glance.
