Fenway Candy Company Glass Jar, c. 1915

Fenway Candy Company Glass Jar, c. 1915

This outstanding Fenway Candy Co. glass jar comes from the area around Fenway Park, and dates from the early days of the hallowed home of the Red Sox. With a height of 12" and a diameter of 4 3/4", the hefty aqua-colored vessel is free of cracks, chips or haze. The raised lettering is bold and well-struck, and completely free of wear. Apart from a few very superficial scratches, the jar is as nice as the day it was made, and earns a solid EX-MT rating. The candy inside is gone, perhaps to energize the Red Sox fans and players of almost a century ago. The jar looks empty, but is most certainly filled with memories.
