Fenway Park Jimmy Fund Container

Fenway Park Jimmy Fund Container

Since its founding in 1948, the Jimmy Fund has supported the fight against cancer in children and adults at Boston's Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, helping to raise the chances of survival for cancer patients around the world. Such important work is imortant and funding has long relied on doantions from the concerned public via deposit boxes such as the one offered here. This particular specimen hung in Fenway for many years and was only removed due to recent renovations. The painted wooden mount measures 24" in height and the red painted safe box, with original lock (key not included) are all completely original. Each displays the expected wear and the only flaw of note is a small notation written in blue ballpoint underneath the "F" in "FUND", otherwise EX.
