Fine 1954 World Series NY Giants & Cleveland Indians Team-Signed Baseball (PSA)
An artifact of the 1954 World Series, this Official National League (Giles) baseball is team-signed by 23 members of the New York Giants & Cleveland Indians. The ball was actually signed at the Series, which is perhaps best known for Willie Mays making "The Catch" at the Polo Grounds. All are in the same color ink with Giants featuring: Mays, Irvin, Durocher, Wilhelm, Gomez, Thompson, Antonelli, McCall, Grissom, Mueller, Dark, Williams, Maglie, Lockman. Indians include: Lopez, Lemon, Feller, Wertz, Rosen, Glynn, Philley. The ball rates a solid 7.0 condition with sigs averaging 8.0. The Giants swept their way to their first World Series title since 1933 in taking four straight. Includes PSA LOA.
