Gifted, multi-sport athlete Babe Didrikson Zaharias dated this letter January 2, 1935, and details her picking up a new sport - golf. Written to sports promoter Ray Doan, her tone depicts a highly motivated 24-year old who is ready to make a big splash. She writes that she‚s aware the public is going to flock to her, as she writes "as soon as I hit my first golf ball the publicity is going to start."
