First Ever Game at Yale Bowl Sterling Tea Infuser

This sterling silver tea infuser commemorates the Nov. 21st 1914, HARVARD vs YALE football game, which Harvard won 36-0. This was the first game played at the Yale Bowl and attending the game were luminaries from every major city, including the then-Governor of Hawaii. Presidents William Howard Taft and Theodore Roosevelt were also reported to be in attendance. The tea infuser is in the shape of a football, measures 2.5" high, and was made by the Metcalf Co. NYC. Reads "Nov 21, 1914" and "H 36 Y 0". Condition is NRMT.
