First Game at Cleveland Stadium July 31, 1932 Program

First Game at Cleveland Stadium July 31, 1932 Program

The first game at Cleveland's then-new Municipal Stadium attracted a crowd of 80,184 people when the Athletics' Lefty Grove beat the Indians' Mel Harder 1-0. In attendance were AL president Will Harridge and former Indians' stars Napoleon Lajoie and Cy Young. A stadium seating plan is included with the black-and- orange covered program. Scored program shows cover wear with a crease in the lower right corner. Some color loss and slight creases, but overall a great piece for any Cleveland fan's collection.
