First Issue of Playboy Magazine

First Issue of Playboy Magazine

The magazine that changed the mainstream publication business and was a major influence in the sexual revolution, Playboy was founded by Hugh Hefner in 1953 and this is a copy of the very first issue. Volume 1, Number 1 features Marilyn Monroe on the cover in black and white, as well as in color on a page inside. This example is nice but does have some water spots throughout and some fading to the front cover, making it a more affordable option. It is complete and has no tears or holes.
