First Major League Game at Seals Stadium (April 15, 1958)

Dodger and Giant imports are represented by their managers Bill Rigney and Walter Alston. This is the first ML game ever at the old PCL park and ironically is between the two teams new to the West. Ruben Gomez pitches an 8-0 shutout and the Giants set an attendance record for Seals Stadium by drawing 23,192 fans. Rare Examiner print is 8x10”. Original newspaper article on the reverse is date stamped April 16, 1958, from the day after the game. EX-MT.
