The World Baseball Classic made its debut in 2006, featuring many of the best players in the world competing for their home countries and territories for the first time ever. Four pairs of batting gloves used in the first game of the first ever Classic. David Ortiz (Dominican Republic) - Black, with red and white trim. "TPX" on the Velcro snap. Inside bottom reads, "Big Papi #34". Light Use. Andruw Jones (Netherlands) - White and orange with black trim. "AJ25" on the Velcro strap. Albert Pujols - (Cuba) White and blue. "Dri-Fit" on the Velcro strap. Tons of use. Cuban team - Red, blue and gray with the Cuban flag on the forefinger. Unused.
