Five Pele Signed Jerseys (All PSA)

Five Pele Signed Jerseys (All PSA)

Superb career-spanning lot (5) of signed jerseys by Pele, regarded by most players, journalists, and fans as the greatest soccer player of all-time. Born as Edson Arantes do Nascimento and known by his soccer name as "Pele," he began his career as a 15-year-old with Santos, famous Brazilian professional team. Pele soon also played for the Brazilian National team, making his debut when he was only 16. This goal scoring and playmaking forward led Brazil to three World Cups: 1958, 1962, and 1970. Late in his career, Pele joined the New York Cosmos of the North American Soccer League in 1975. The jerseys were most likely manufactured for signing purposes. 1) Santos black and white stripped jersey with black #10 on back. Contains Santos Football Club patch on front. Pele's large, bold signature is unusual in that he signs using his given name "Edson" plus his soccer name "Pele" in black, felt-tipped marker, on the numeral "1" on back. PSA/DNA. 2) Cosmos green, has Cosmos patch on front, "Pele 10" on back. Pele is in white letters and the #10 is in white letters with gold yellow trim. Pele signature is large and bold and signed on back with a black felt tipped marker. PSA/DNA. 3) Brazil 1970 blue jersey. Rare "Edson Arantes Do Nascimento" signature as Pele signed this jersey, on the front, with his real name! Signed in bold, black felt-tipped marker. On back is "10," in yellow. Front features "CBD" brazil football patch. PSA/DNA. 4) Santos white jersey, has Santos Football Club patch on front, signed on back under the number 10 in large, bold script with a black felt tipped marker. PSA/DNA. 5) Brazil 1958 World Cup. Yellow jersey with green lettering and green trim. Back has "PELE" and "10." Pele signature is bold and signed in black, felt-tipped marker on back under the number 10. Each of the five jerseys is PSA/DNA Authenticated. All jerseys are in Excellent condition.
