Flatbush Avenue Brooklyn Subway Sign
Straight from the underground comes this great old display piece - a cast metal subway insert sign, most likely from the #2 or #5 train with original white paint. Measures 25.5" x 4" and is the same on both sides: "FLATBUSH AVE. B'KLYN." The Dodgers' longtime home - Ebbets Field - was located on Flatbush Avenue. There is significant rust on both sides but that only adds to the rustic charm of the piece.
