At the XV Summer Olympics in Helsinki, Finland, future Heavyweight Champion Floyd Patterson won a gold medal as a middleweight by knockout in the first round over Vasile Tita of Romania. Future heavyweight champion Ingemar Johansson won a silver medal, losing in the heavyweight finals to Ed Sanders by disqualification in the 2nd round. Also featured; British heavyweight Henry Cooper, future Featherweight Champ Davey Moore, and future Italian World Champion Sandro Mazzinghi. Offered here are two rare, official, boxing programs from the 1952 Olympic Games. The first program is a 20-page program for the preliminary rounds, the second from the finals.
