Floyd Patterson Sixteen 1965 Sports Illustrated Photos Training for "Cassius Clay" (ex-Floyd Patterson Estate)
A rare and wonderful group of first generation photographs depicting Floyd Patterson in training for his November, 1965, fight with then Heavyweight Champion Muhammad Ali. Seven are originals done by Sports Illustrated with their stamp on the reverse and dated 11/6/65. Also includes nine by photographer Lee Balterman dated 11/12/65, including Patterson clowning around with actor Eddie Fisher. Approximately 9" x 13" with high resolution. Some edge and corner wear with minor creasing and soiling.
