Folk Art Baseball Display Made From Game Used Bats

Folk Art Baseball Display Made From Game Used Bats

Splendid 1950s Folk Art piece display constructed of the signature model areas of actual game used bats. The players whose bats adorn this piece include Carl Furillo, Marty Marion, Sibi Sisti and Bob Sturgeon. There is a rustic charm evident here, as the whimsical conversation piece was likely used to decorate a desk or a bookcase. It measures roughly 3.5" wide at its base and 7" tall. Only someone from within the game could have access to these bats and made this. Something of a bat version of George Sosnak.
