Four Different Muhammad Ali vs. Sonny Liston II Full Tickets (All PSA NM 7)
Collection of four full tickets to the heavyweight championship boxing bout between Muhammad Ali and Sonny Liston held at St. Dominic's Arena in Lewiston, Maine, on May 25th, 1965. The collection represents three of the four different color variations issued for the fight (blue, gold, and orange), and each has been individually encapsulated and graded NM 7 by PSA. This was the controversial rematch between Ali and Liston that ended with the famous "phantom punch" thrown by Ali that knocked Liston out in the first round. It also gave the sports world one of its most iconic photograph images: Neil Leifer's classic photo of Ali standing triumphantly over Liston at the end of the bout. This an outstanding high-grade ticket collection to one of the Ali's most memorable fights.
