Four Football Hartland Statues including Unitas (signed) and Arnett
In 1958, the Indianapolis Colts and the New York Giants put pro-football on the map by staging the epic 1958 sudden death NFL Championship battle, dubbed "The Greatest Game Ever Played." The emergence of pro-football spurred the production of these lovely statues by Hartland, which had enjoyed huge success the previous year with their line of highly collectible baseball statues including Babe Ruth and Mickey Mantle. The obvious choice for their first statue was The Golden Arm, Johnny Unitas (a joyous bonus is that this one is autographed by Unitas on the bottom of the base), the only quarterback featured in this Hartland set. Offered here are also L.A. Rams running back, Jon Arnett and running backs of Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears. Condition is overall NRMT.
