Four Great Casey Stengel Photographs
Quartet of Casey Stengel photos dating from the early 1950s. One of baseball's most beloved characters, these shots do "The Old Professor" justice, as one is a classic head-and-shoulders shot but the others display Casey juggling, holding up two fingers after winning the first two games of the 1950 World Series, and perusing a program on field and in uniform. Headshot is 7x9", others 8x10", versos have extensive stampings from Brown Brothers, the photo collection service that has been in existence for over a century.
